Well, yesterday David turned 60, and we had a bit of a party at our place to celebrate!
Friends, neighbours, workmates and family came to celebrate this momentous occasion. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day weather-wise, I think it was around 26 with blue skies and sunshine after the initial fog in the morning down our way.
We had lunch catered for by
Golden Spit Roast Catering who did a fab job and we all enjoyed Roast Pork, Beef, Salads, Potatoes, Gravy & Apple Sauce followed by Fruit Salad, Pavlova (thanks Deb!) and Lemon Tart (thanks Louisa!), plus all the nibbles and drinks as well.
You would think that David was an alcoholic with the amount of booze that people gave him, despite out wish for "No Presents by request". Plus he now has some Boston Redsox socks and a cap to wear to the game in August!! Some people are very clever with ideas for gifts and I still don't understand this clock:

Only David will understand this clock |
Anyway, here's some pictures from the day:

On the holiday front, we have now booked all our accommodation in LA, Boston, Washington, NYC and Las Vegas! Only need to book the airport hotel at Tullamarine for the night before we leave, no rush to do that.
